No — and this is the most common over-spec we correct. Full FR (NFPA 2112 / ASTM F1506) is only required for flash-fire roles such as maintenance and engineering crew. Passenger-facing crew need self-extinguishing, no-melt/no-drip behavior (ASTM D6413 / EN ISO 15025) and, on the ramp, anti-static performance (EN 1149). Full FR adds cost and stiffness to roles that will never see it. We map your roster and tell you which roles genuinely require FR before you spend on it.

Color is locked at the dye house, not eyeballed at the cutting table. Each dye lot is measured against your approved reference with a spectrophotometer and must hold ΔE < 0.8 — tighter than the industry-standard 1.5 — before a yard is cut. The reading is archived by SKU, and shade-lot grouping keeps every garment in one shipment on the same lot, so a full cabin crew looks identical row to row. A reorder a year later matches the stored reading, not a faded swatch.

Four, minimum: ISO 12947-2 abrasion (Martindale 20,000–30,000 cycles for suiting, 10,000–15,000 for shirts), ISO 12945-2 pilling (Grade 4–5), ISO 105-B02 lightfastness (Grade 5) and ISO 105-C06 wash fastness (Grade 4–5). Then demand after-wash certificates — performance verified after 50–100 industrial washes, not just as-new. As-new flatters the fabric; the 50-wash figure is what the crew actually wears.

Made-to-measure cuts each flight-deck crew member's pattern to their individual body — right for a 380-person pilot corps, with a 16–20 week lead. Mass-graded sizing cuts from one master grade rule with adjustable hems, waist and sleeves — right for cabin and ground where you fit a roster, with an 8–12 week lead and emergency replenishment in 7–14 days. Both are cut from the same master grade rule, so the fit language is consistent across the fleet.

Standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style, and for charter operators and flight schools we flex the first order down so a small fleet can certify a program without over-buying. Single-unit sampling comes first — you approve fabric and fit on the actual production line, not a sampling room. Reorders have no minimum and run on the evergreen 8–12 week cycle, with buffer stock for emergency replacements.
